Oche Peter, professionally known as Young Oche, is a budding Nigerian Singer and Songwriter. He is one of the winners of the Next Up Online Talent Search and a member of the boy band T – Boiz set up by the music legend 2 Baba
Young Oche is a talented young musician; a versatile Afrobeats/ Afro Fusion Singer, Songwriter and Producer. He describes his genre of music as Afro Spirit – a blend of afrobeats, rhythm and soul with emotional vibes. Little wonder his mentor is 2baba and his role models are P square, Wande Coal and Wizkid
According to Oche, music is innate. Having had and overcome some struggles early in life, Oche has mastered the art of garnering inspiration from within. He creates unique sounds from situations and virtually everything he sees or listens to.
Young Oche started his professional music journey when he dropped his debut single “Tango” in 2017 which introduced him as a household name within the community.
However, Oche would find his big break working alongside the legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2baba. In 2019, Oche won the #NextUp online challenge and became a member of the boy band T-boiz created by 2Baba. This has enhanced his musical career immensely

Same year, 2019, Young Oche acted as the opening act for Campari Make It Red Festival Abuja, featured on 2Baba Live: 20 Years A King’s Concert in Abuja & Lagos, and also performed at the AFRIMA Music Village.
