New Music: Udo Okorie

Udo Okorie is a Gospel Singer, Songwriter and Music Director, born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria. He discovered his singing talent from his childhood days and started his music career fully in 2014 whilst serving as a music director in the Students’ Christian Movement of Nigeria, University of Ibadan (UI).

Even though a lawyer by profession, Udo Okorie has a unique way of stirring the hearts of men in worship to God. He is the President of Udo & D’Christocentric Crew, and convener of “Revealing Jesus”, an annual gospel concert that has blessed so many lives.

When asked, he describes his music as “Christocentric”, using his songs to explain what christ has done and what he is doing for believers today. Udo Okorie has just released his anticipated debut album, titled “FULL OF THE SPIRIT”. The songs in the album simply tells the believer what he has received and who he has become by virtue of the finished work of christ.

As Udo Okorie says “when you listen to the songs, for some, you will feel like praying, and for others you will feel like rejoicing. Don’t hesitate, express yourself as you enjoy the atmosphere that each song creates for you.”
