Ycee, the Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter

Oludemilade Martin Alejo, known as Ycee, was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, and attended the University of Lagos.

Career Beginnings

Ycee’s music journey started in 2012 as an underground rapper before signing with Tinny Entertainment. He released “Condo” in 2015, gaining significant attention.

Rise to Stardom

“Jagaban” became a massive hit for him, leading to nominations at various music awards, including the MTV Africa Music Awards.

Breaking New Grounds

Ycee’s collaboration with Maleek Berry on “Juice” became the most popular new music on Nigerian radio in 2017.
